Daya Ghar
Many children in India do not have adequate opportunities to have complete education in a healthy environment. The government provides for through schools, but schooling alone is not adequate. Children from poor and troubled families tend to drop out of school. Individual attention, care and guidance is crucial to all growing children.
Daya Ghar was founded in 2001 to provide a Home for deserving underprivileged Children. At Daya Ghar, our dream is to teach a a child the importance of hygiene, health, education and values. These are the foundations for a successful and meaningful life. We also create opportunities so they may develop vocational skills and can qualify for a good job and build a secure life. Today our Home accommodates nine boys. We plan to increase our strength to fifteen in the following year 2009- 2010.
